Is Shecurity really free?
Yes. Every safety feature is free forever, with no ads and no trial. Shecurity is a profit-free project: nobody earns money from it. If you want to help pay for future upgrades you can donate any amount, but you never have to.
Where do I get Shecurity?
On Android, from Google Play. On iPhone, the App Store version is on its way; until then, open shecurity.app/app in Safari and tap Add to Home Screen. You can also use it in any browser.
Who can see my location?
Only the people in your safety circle, and only while you choose to share it: during an SOS, a walk or a missed check-in. There is no public map and no stranger network. You can stop sharing with one tap.
Does Shecurity call the police for me?
No. Shecurity alerts the people you trust and shows your local emergency number with one tap. If you are in danger right now, call 911, 112, 999 or 000 first.
Do my friends need the app too?
To join your circle and get instant alerts, yes, and it's free for them too. Even without it, your SOS can send a regular text message with your location to anyone in your contacts.
Is my data sold or shared?
Never. There are no ads and no trackers. Your contacts and notes stay on your phone; circle alerts are stored in the EU and deleted automatically after 30 days. Read the privacy policy.
